Product Care & Maintenance
Protecting Your Investment
Chances are you are on this page because you have purchased a product from White's Woodworking Shop and want to properly maintain it.
A considerable amount of time is put into finishing each piece. From the numerous stages of sanding and water popping of the wood grain, and ultimately the application of the wood finish, each step is meticulously performed. Your product has been finished to provide years of enjoyment.

As with most wood products, routine maintenance should be observed. Below, you will find the recommended care instructions for my products.

Regardless of the wood product purchased, perhaps the most important piece of advise is to ensure your item is kept in an environment that has a stable relative humidity of approximately 40%. Particularly in the winter months when the air inside of our home tends to be dryer. Dryer air could cause the wood to crack or warp.
